Tripura is one of the largest bamboo growing states in India with few skilled people who know the art of working with Bamboo. To bridge this gap, client took an initiative to train people and changing people’s perspective on the infinite potential of bamboo. Bamboo institute is part of this initiative, where people will be trained in different skills to work with bamboo. Bamboo museum & library is part of the institute and envisioned to set an example in bamboo construction in the region. The greater goal is to let people know how bamboo can be used in innovative and experimental ways that demonstrate its architectural possibilities.
