A competition-winning entry initiated by the ORF, the nature park design proposal by City Collaborative  Ltd. ( Consortium of RJB-CPL, sP+A Architects and Design Cell) proposes a regional reimagining of the existing waterway edges of the Mithi River as a dynamic ecosystem. It does so to absorb the monsoon overflow and serves as a green filter remediating outflows into the water from the immediate surroundings. Multiple avenues to showcase nature’s variants evolve out of a pavilion-like arrival complex. It has been placed within the barren pockets of the park and aims to provide an interactive experience to the visitor of the vast wealth within the park. A pedestrian cyclist footbridge spanning 300m across the Mithi River balances the flow of the plan and has multi-tasking spaces designed for varied activities at different times of the day, during the week or the weekends.
